Our organization has been growing and growing. The three main concerns identified in our early November ‘99 survey from the Isla Vista residents were Food for Families, Education for their children, and Physical and Emotional Health Programs that can alleviate some of their vulnerability from lack of health insurance.

Over the last few months, the Isla Vista Tutoring Center has been adjusting through some transitions. As some of you know, the previous tutoring center coordinator, Laura Otaola, took an amazing job with Young Life.
