The SBCDC has coordinated with the County Health Department to provide free health care screening, vision care, dental care and vaccinations to children up to 19 years of age. Immunizations are made available to children entering first grade and health screens are provided for local women. In addition, the SBCDC serves as a conduit for a federal program that distributes vitamins to poor children.
